Phi Beta Mu

Welcome to the Nebraska Alpha Theta Chapter of Phi Beta Mu Web Page. The Alpha Theta Chapter of Phi Beta Mu became a chartered chapter in 1998. Our annual meeting and luncheon is held every year during the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association Spring Convention. We also have an informal meeting and breakfast during the Nebraska Music Educators Association fall convention. There are currently 90 members in our Chapter.

Alpha Theta Chapter has been instrumental in commissioning music compositions and organizing music consortiums. Currently our main focus has been the mentoring of our young directors. Currently we have over 20 young directors in our state that are being mentored by our membership.

We continue to look forward to serving and recognizing outstanding music educators and being involved in state and national projects.
